Well! A lot has happened since my last post. In (close to) chronological order I got about seven replies on the survey out of about 87 neighbors, three of which were disinterested, and the rest were all for it. Unfortunately, I only have an oral record of who was interested. Ah, well. At least the interest is there! (and the horribly lame poster that I hurriedly put together five minutes before the neighborhood garage sale, for the sale, will be quietly disposed of...)

So, I have to write about what's been going on in my garden, but also tell you of some surprises that I found. Up to date, I have harvested radishes, lettuces, peas! how glorious!, and a few green beans. My spinach didn't seem to do so well, I think mainly because it wasn't getting enough sun. It went mainly to seed very quickly.
