With just a hoop frame over raised bed covered by floating row cover and plastic, I am able to still harvest chard, spinach and cilantro this year. See my page for photos.

I'm going to double-post this, but Julee Shamhart (juleeshamhart@yahoo.com) has extra windows from her own cold-frame creations, and has the contact info for all of the other craigslist-ers who replied to her call for windows. She also wrote, "I would be happy to help you organize a cold frame making party and share anything I may learn building mine if you would like."
