I'm in it for the green

The time I spend in my garden is a meditation. The work is not taxing--mentally or physically, if I am sensible. There is always something to discover. Green Caterpillars on my Kale

We are really loving the harvest of fresh kale, chard, and snow peas that our garden is producing. While picking kale for stir fry (my newest addiction...kale, snow peas, scallions from our garden stir fried in coconut oil- yum) I noticed many of the leaves look like they are being eaten and the undersides of the leaves have many green caterpillars-some small some big. Does anyone know what these are and what I can do to get them off my plants! Help!
